The film covers the narrative of Rahul Khanna and two girls in his life. The first is Anjali Sharma, his best buddy from college. Prior to the arrival of Tina, Rahul and Anjali spent the most of their time together. Tina is the principal's beautiful daughter, and Rahul is instantly enamoured.
Soon, the two start going out. Anjali, who secretly loves Rahul, is crushed by this change of events. She decides to leave college, and although she and Rahul say their goodbyes, they do not communicate again in the years that follow.
Kuch Kuch Hota Hai [a] is a 1998 Indian Hindi-language musical romance film composed and directed by Karan Johar and produced by his dad, Yash Johar, through Dharma Productions, Inc. It stars Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol, and Rani Mukherji, with Salman Khan making a prolonged cameo appearance. It also stars Sana Saeed in a supporting role. The film won several awards, including the National Film Award for Best Popular Film Providing Wholesome Entertainment and Best Film at the Filmfare Awards, Screen Awards, Zed Cine Awards, and Bollywood Movie Award. Kuch Kuch Hota Hai received eight Filmfare categories and was the only film to win all four acting categories (Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Supporting Actor, and Best Supporting Actress) until Gully Boy (2019).
