| Awarapan (2007) 720p Shivam is the right-hand man of Bharat Malik, a criminal mobster who also owns a series of hotels in Hong Kong. Malik is an introverted, devastated atheist. One of these hotels is entrusted to Shivam, who manages it skillfully and effectively, making it far more successful than Malik's other hotels. More than his biological son Ronnie, Malik treats Shivam like an adored son whom he entrusts with nearly everything.
Malik holds Shivam in the highest regard because of Shivam's loyalty, dependability, and commercial acumen. Ronnie is very envious of Shivam because of this, but she is afraid to publicly disagree with him because of Malik's vocal backing of Shivam. Shivam had a close-knit upbringing. One day, while on a quick business trip, Malik asks Shivam to watch over his young mistress Reema, whom he believes is having an affair with someone else. Reema is a young Muslim girl from Pakistan who was "bought" by Malik from the Bangkok flesh market. She is a victim of sex trafficking.
Shivam is required to notify Malik right away if Reema is discovered to be unfaithful. Shivam has flashbacks when he remembers his deceased love, Aliyah, as a result of his encounters with Reema. Shivam had met Aliyah, a pious Muslim, by accident one day at the marketplace.
After the two fell in love, her father angrily confronted them and gave Aliyah a physical scolding when he saw them together. He also revealed to Aliyah, who was startled, Shivam's criminal past. Shivam then immediately offered her father his gun, claiming he was ready to give up everything, start over, and genuinely support Aliyah if he could be with her. Aliyah's father swiftly gets over his first shock and pulls the gun, shooting Shivam, who ducks to escape the bullet.
Awarapan, which translates to "Vagrancy," is a 2007 Indian Hindi-language neo-noir action drama film, produced by Mukesh Bhatt and directed by Mohit Suri. It was written by Shagufta Rafique and based on a narrative by Mahesh Bhatt. Ashutosh Rana, Mrinalini Sharma, Shriya Saran, and Emraan Hashmi are among its stars. In the movie, Bharat Malik (Rana), the boss of mobster Shivam Pandit (Hashmi), gives him orders to keep an eye on Malik's covert Pakistani mistress, Reema (Sharma).
The picture was a failure when it was first released, but thanks in large part to Hashmi's acting, it has gained cult status over time.[2] A Bittersweet Life, a South Korean film, was remade without credits.[3][4]On June 29, 2007, Awarapan was launched in theatres across India and the globe. Although critics gave it good reviews, the movie was a commercial flop. |
