⭕ He was a great ruler of Shah Mir dynasty. He reigned from 1420 AD to 1470 AD. .

⭕ He was born on 25th November, 1395 in Kashmir and ascended to the throne of Kashmir at the age of 25.

⭕ He was known by his subjects as Bad-Shah (the Great King) because of his kindness, religious tolerance and justice.

⭕He encouraged scholars to translate Sanskrit epics into Persian

⭕Mahabharata and Kalhan's Rajatarangini were translated to Persian by his order.

⭕ He abolished the Jaziya tax on the Hindus and rebuilt many temples.

⭕ He built many important buildings, dug canals for irrigation and established industries.
