Mahajan
He was born in 1889 in Tika Nagrota in the Kangra district.
He was the first Prime Minister of Jammu and Kashmir during the Reign of Maharaja Hari Singh and was the third Chief Justice of Supreme Court of India (from January, 1954 to December, 1954).
⚫ He played a great role in the accession of Jammu and Kashmir to India.
He was the nominee of the Indian National Congress on the
Redcliff Commission, the Commission that defined the boundaries of India and Pakistan.
Prior to hold the position of the Chief Justice of Supreme Court, he served as one of the first Judges of Supreme Court of independent India.
He died on 5th April, 1967.
