Why is WhatsApp's most recent update so bad?

There are many reasons why users don't appreciate WhatsApp's most recent version. The causes are as follows:

Most people use WhatsApp as a messaging app. Its users primarily use it for communication. Therefore, since users are already satisfied, there was no need for something similar. You don't suddenly receive 1 billion downloads.

WhatsApp is attempting to compete with Snapchat and Instagram.

Therefore, this is not a novel concept.WhatsApp is used by all age groups, whereas Instagram and Snapchat are primarily used by teenagers. Some folks might struggle with the screen's increased complexity as a result of the recent update.

Because WhatsApp is so straightforward and simple to use, millions of people like me continue to use it. The primary function of WhatsApp is texting, and it excels at it. The UI was orderly and tidy. The software was incredibly simple to use. To put it briefly, it wasn't a social network.

But I was aware that Facebook will conduct certain tests the moment they acquired it. Voice calls have been added, which is fine. Then, why did they include video calls? We have countless apps for that, right? What in the name of God are you attempting to make it into?

Now that Facebook has released the most recent update, it is ruined forever. Its transformation into a social network (like Instagram) is being attempted. Here are a few aspects of the latest update that I really found grating.

Where in the world is my previous status?

The status update with the photographs is dreadful beyond words.

I couldn't locate my contacts. They previously stood close to my talks.

Why do the status updates expire after 24 hours? What's the point? in order to attract people to submit more and more garbage every day? I left Facebook because of this nonsense. Right now, it is on WhatsApp.
