🟢Battle royale-style games still remain popular in India. After BGMI was banned, players turned to Call of Duty, which is a highly popular PC title. Garena Free Fire was also another popular title, but it is not available to play anymore.

1. Krafton says BGMI will be available to download in India soon.
2. The company adds it is "grateful to the Indian authorities" to resume operations.
3. Krafton is yet to reveal BGMI's return date in India.

Its developer and South Korea-based Krafton said in a release that the company is "highly grateful to the Indian authorities for allowing us to resume operations." BGMI was removed from the Apple App Store and Google Play Store last year due to security reasons.

ITD 🟢 Its previous iteration, PUBG Mobile, remains banned in India due to the same security issues and links to China.

K🟢rafter confirmed the return of BGMI just days after a report pointed out the company's ongoing negotiations with Indian authorities. India Today Tech also reported that the company was working with authorities for the game's return.
