▪️ It was declared as Tiger Reserve (2nd to be declared after Manas Tiger Reserve). 



▪️ It has 2 core areas: the Nameri National Park & the Sonai- Rupai Wildlife Sanctuary (Satellite Core of the Nameri Tiger Reserve).
