J&K Govt and administration mercilessly failed to generate jobs: Future of J&K B.ed, M.ed, MPhil and PhD degree holders unemployed youth is in alarming stage |
Lieutenant Governor’s administration in Jammu and Kashmir has utterly and completely failed to secure the future of its educated youth in the UT as unemployment rate has broken all records.
🔴J&K Service Selection Board (JKSSB) exams in disarray: frequent postponements, cancellations, and scams undermine student careers. Urgent action needed to restore credibility or dissolve the board for efficient recruitment
🔴To address this pressing issue, there are two viable courses of action. First, the JKSSB must take immediate steps to rectify its shortcomings and conduct exams successfully. This entails implementing stricter measures to ensure the integrity of the examination process and preventing any form of malpractice.
🔴Transparency and accountability should be the bedrock principles upon which the board operates. By instilling confidence in the selection process, the board can help restore faith among the student community and pave the way for a fair and merit-based system.
🔴A glance at the recent track record of the JKSSB reveals a disheartening reality. Exams for positions such as Account Assistant (Finance), Inspector (Finance), Sub-inspector (Finance), VLW, Patwari, Panchayat Secretary, Forester, and Sub-inspector (Police) have suffered from a plethora of issues. These include frequent postponements, cancellations, delays, and legal disputes, leaving aspiring candidates in a state of despair.
🔴AJKYF which has already shown its grave concern over unemployment and regular protests of the youth for transparent recruitment policy and for ascending order of unemployment ratio,” said imran while talking to media persons at Jammu. Imran alleged that Centre and UT Government were playing with future of the J&K youth, whose most genuine demand of transparent recruitment policy has not been addressed in time thus forcing them to protest on the roads.
🔴Jammu Kashmir which was earlier a State, is now a UT and for the last eight years there is no Assembly election at all and the youth of this UT is in fix. He asked the people of J&K to ruminate the existing and alarming situation of unemployment of the UT and consider the social evils among youth like drug abuse, suicidal tendency and crime because of unemployment rate. He also raised his serious concern over the scraping of J&K Police Sub inspector, FAA and JE exams last year.
🔴Regretting that unemployment rate in J&K had become highest in the country, Imran Katoch and other AJKYF executive members urged upon the Lt Governor to personally intervene in view of massive outrage sparked amongst the unemployed youth across the J&K UT.
