Directed by Anees Bazmee, the trailer shows John, Arshad Warsi and Pulkit Samrat as brainless friends, who are being bullied by goons played by Anil Kapoor and Saurabh Shukla.
The film also stars Illeana D'Cruz, Urvashi Rautela and Kriti Kharbanda.
The trailer starts with a disclaimer warning to not apply brain. From the first look of it, Pagalpanti will remind you of Anees Bazmi's all previous films like Welcome, No Entry and Welcome Back, among others. Just like many other comedies, the actors are seen running after money. With a tinge of slapstick comedy, the trailer incorporates flying cars and creepy clowns as well.
While Arshad Warsi seems comfortable in his forte, that is comedy, John Abraham doesn't appear convincing. Pulkit Samrat is seen in bits and pieces and therefore nothing can be said about him yet. One can see bouts of Majnu Bhai from Welcome in Pagalpanti's Anil Kapoor. The ladies go unnoticed in this 3.01 minute trailer.
For the past few days, the makers of Pagalpanti released several posters of the film re-emphasising on to not apply brain. Before the release of the trailer today, Anil Kapoor took to social media to share another set of poster. He wrote, "Hum sab pagal aa rahe hain aap sabko pagal karne. #Pagalpanti trailer out today (sic)."
Pagalpanti is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Kumar Mangat and Abhishek Pathak. It will hit the screens on November 22.
